I am a regular , everyday person. I am married, have 2 sons, a mortgage, and a full time job. I have bills, responsibilities, and stress. I also happen to be a type 1 diabetic and have been since December 1994. I wear an insulin pump 24 hours a day, seven days a week. My goal is to give people a look into the life of a normal everyday woman who happens to have diabetes. Most of the time I am fine, but when I’m not, it can be anywhere from uncomfortable to knocking on death’s door. My goal is to live with this incurable disease for as long as I can without having any complications. So far, so good. If anyone has questions about pumping or diabetes, let me know. I will be glad to educate you.
